Jennifer Dixon named the 1st Quarter BEE of 2025!

Coffeyville Regional Medical Center is pleased to announce Jennifer Dixon as the 1st Quarter DAISY Honoree of 2025.  Dixon was recognized for her professionalism and confidence in her role working in the Specialty Clinic.

BEE Honoree: Jennifer Dixon
Department: Specialty Clinic
#1 Nominated by: Lindsay Howerton

“Jenny goes above and beyond for our patients and always works hard to
accommodate and advocate for them. The reason for this nomination is for the
care and compassion that was shown to a clinic patient. The patient used a
motorized wheelchair to and from the appointment and showed up two hours
early for the scheduled appointment. The patient was very cold. Jenny went to
the Acute Care Department to get them a warm blanket and then went to the
cafeteria and bought them a warm breakfast. Due to Jenny’s generosity and love
for the patients, we decided to gift the patient a blanket, warm gloves, and hot
hands for the ride home. Jenny presented the gift to the patient with tears in her
eyes. We truly love her on the Specialty Clinic Floor and could not care for our
patients without her on our team. She is a blessing to this organization.”

DAISY Honoree: Katelyn Wallace
Department: Acute Care

My nurse went a good distance to make my time in the hospital as pleasant as
possible. I did not know how far I was declining in my health until I was
thoroughly given my correct medications. My nurse was very kind and
considerate of my health. I could always count on her compassion during the time
I was in the hospital. This is why I am nominating this nurse for the DAISY Award.
Thank you, Katelyn!

DAISY Honoree: Chrissy Johnson
Department: Acute Care
Nominated by: a patient

I was admitted to the hospital on 9/23/2024 for an infection and ulcer on my right
foot. Chrissy Johnson was my nurse during the day and into the night. She has the
best bedside manners, is very sweet, and is super compassionate. Chrissy treated
me as if I were family. I woke up early in the morning lost and scared. I didn’t
know where I was until Chrissy came into my room and I recognized her face. She
reassured me that I was in great hands. I believe she deserves the DAISY award
because she is an amazing nurse. Thank you!

Angela Jones named the 3rd Quarter BEE!

Coffeyville Regional Medical Center is pleased to announce Angela Jones as the 3rd Quarter DAISY Honoree.  Jones was recognized for her professionalism and confidence in her role working in Respiratory Therapy.

BEE Honoree: Angela Jones
Department: Respiratory Therapy
Nominated by: received by Jessica Trotter from a patient

“I talked on the phone with an outpatient and the patient wanted to let me know
they had come in for a PFT and Angela was exceptional. She took the time with
the patient to explain the test and used a spacer with the MDI. The patient said in
all the years of using an MDI no one had taken the time to explain the importance
of the spacer. Angela showed the patient, and they now use it 4 months later.
This has made a significant difference in their life. The patient said their breathing
had improved and was thankful for Angela.”

Cynthia Reinert named the 2nd Quarter DAISY Honoree!

Coffeyville Regional Medical Center is pleased to announce Cynthia Reinert as the 2nd Quarter DAISY Honoree.  Reinert was recognized for her professionalism and confidence in her role working in Emergency Room.

DAISY Honoree: Cynthia Reinert
Department: ER
Nominated by: Gill Beaumont

A very ill patient came to the ER and had his beloved AC/DC shirt on, and it had to
be cut off of him during his care. The patient was very upset about his shirt being
ruined. Cindy recognized this and promised she would bring him a new one. The
very next day she made good on her promise and brought the patient a new
AC/DC t shirt. He was so excited and thought it was very kind of her to do so. In
my opinion that was an example of going above and beyond to make a patient
feel a little better during a difficult time.

Corbi Admire named the 4th Quarter DAISY Honoree!

Coffeyville Regional Medical Center is pleased to announce Corbi Admire as the 4th Quarter DAISY Honoree.  Admire was recognized for her professionalism and confidence in her role working in Surgery.

DAISY Honoree: Corbi Admire
Department: Surgery
Nominated by: co-worker

My husband was diagnosed last year with cancer and we originally used another facility for our Health Care. After his diagnosis, we decided his follow up care would be done here at CRMC, because of the excellent care I witnessed working in Surgery. This year, when it was time for his colonoscopy, Corbi was his Surgical nurse. She was excellent in explaining the procedure and what he would expect. She took the time to make sure I was okay with everything prior to taking him back to surgery. My husband made a point to say that not only Dr. McGuirk has the best bed side manner he had ever experienced, but also Corbi. I’m happy to report he was cancer free for another year and I am grateful for the whole Surgery Department taking care of both of us. Knowing that our loved ones are cared for when they are not with us and vulnerable is something that is truly priceless. We will continue to use CRMC Surgical Services in the future because of the excellent care he received and will shout from the roof tops how excellent CRMC services are for others. Thank you Corbi, your compassion did not go unnoticed. I appreciate the care you took for my husband and for me on a very emotional day for both of us.
