Bill Read Golf Tournament
The 27th annual Coffeyville Regional Medical Center Foundation Bill Read Golf Classic will be played on Saturday, August 28th at the Coffeyville Country Club. All proceeds from the event will benefit the CRMC Foundation. The CRMC Foundation Board is excited to host this event that celebrates the tremendous asset we have in our community hospital.
The Bill Read Golf Classic celebrates and remembers Dr. William Read. Dr. Read practiced in Coffeyville for more than 40 years following a tour of duty in the Pacific in World War II. Read practiced in Coffeyville until closing his practice in 1987. He delivered about 3,000 babies during that time and served CRMC in a variety of capacities including serving as a trustee from 1972-1987. Read was known for his patience, and his genuine desire to help the people of the community.
The Bill Read Golf Classic is an 18 hole, 4 man team scramble. Shotgun start at 9 a.m. Lunch will be provided at the clubhouse or brought to golfers on the course.
