Coffeyville Regional Medical Center’s Tatman Cancer Center Joins the Midwest Cancer Alliance

Officials from The University of Kansas Cancer Center, the University of Kansas Medical Center and Coffeyville Regional Medical Center (CRMC) are pleased to announce that CRMC is the newest member of the Midwest Cancer Alliance (MCA).

The MCA is a membership-based organization that brings cancer research, clinical and support professionals together to advance the quality and reach of cancer prevention, early detection, care and survivorship programs in Kansas and western Missouri. There are now 21 MCA members across Kansas and western Missouri.

As a Clinical Research Partner, CRMC will have access to a network of leading-edge clinical trials, continuing professional education, patient education, networking and outreach opportunities for our physicians and staff.

“Our MCA membership means that our cancer patients can benefit from some of the latest clinical trials without leaving the community,” explains Mark Woodring, DrPH, FACHE, chief executive officer of CRMC. “We are proud to join this elite network of health systems working to eradicate cancer from Kansas and bring more hope home to Coffeyville.”

Patients at MCA-affiliated hospitals and physician practices also have access to comprehensive cancer prevention, screening, diagnosis and care information, along with other health resources.

“We look forward to supporting the excellent oncology care already available at Coffeyville Regional Medical Center,” says MCA Medical Director, Gary Doolittle, M.D.
