Billman Recognized for Being Exceptional Every Day

Coffeyville Regional Medical Center is pleased to announce Gail Billman, MA CCC/SLP as the January 2021 BEE Honoree. Billman, nominated by a patient’s family member, was recognized Thursday for her extraordinary efforts in helping a patient within the Speech Therapy Department.

“My baby can now eat adult food by chewing until small enough to swallow, as she would just try to swallow and hope for the best before. She moved from a bottle almost straight to a straw sippie cup. She can now say two word phrases and repeat words that we say,” said the nominator.  “As far as I am concerned, Gail is the best in the four states! I appreciate all that she has done for/with us and the support she has not only shown my baby, but myself.”

The BEE (Being Exceptional Everyday) Award honors and recognizes team members outside of nursing who go Beyond Exceptional Expectations. These team members provide extraordinary experiences for our patients, their families and visitors by exemplifying quality service and extraordinary care.
