Registration now open for CRMC’s 30th Bill Read Golf Classic

The 30th Coffeyville Regional Medical Center Foundation Bill Read Golf Classic will be played on Saturday, September 28 at the Coffeyville Country Club. All proceeds from this event benefit the CRMC Foundation.

The Bill Read Classic is a four-person scramble that will conclude with the Golf Ball Drop. The tournament will also include additional contests, a silent auction, door prizes, free lunch and prizes for the top three teams in each flight. Each golfer will receive a free 30th Anniversary Bill Read Golf Classic t-shirt.

The Bill Read Golf Classic celebrates and remembers Dr. William Read. Dr. Read practiced in Coffeyville for more than 40 years following a tour of duty in the Pacific in World War II. Read practiced in Coffeyville until closing his practice in 1987. He delivered about 3,000 babies during that time and served CRMC in a variety of capacities including serving as a trustee from 1972-1987. Read was known for his patience, and his genuine desire to help the people of the community.
