Community State Bank Gives Warm Welcome to CRMC Babies

Community State Bank donated a new Panda® Warmer to the Geeta Sandhu Women’s Health Center at CRMC. The Panda® Warmer is a baby warmer designed to meet the needs of Labor and Delivery.

“On behalf of Coffeyville Regional Medical Center and the CRMC Foundation, we would like to thank Community State Bank for their generous donation to help give our newborns a warm welcome to the world,” said Mark Woodring, DrPH, FACH, CEO of Coffeyville Regional Medical Center.

The revolutionary design eliminates a large overhead heater making it easier to observe the baby. The Panda Warmer eliminates alarms during “warm-up” mode so nurses can warm the bed before the baby arrives without disturbing the mother during labor. Every baby is weighed at birth and the warmers integrated in-bed scale option simplifies the weighing procedure while keeping the baby warm in the process.

“The owners, directors and employees of Community State Bank understand how important it is to have a strong hospital in our community.  That is why we have been a longtime supporter of the CRMC Foundation and the work it does for our community.  I think it is incredible that all those babies will feel a WARM Coffeyville welcome as they start their journey through life,” said Mike Ewy, president of Community State Bank.

Community State Bank wanted to make a difference with their contribution to help with the demands of a growing number of births at CRMC.
