Women’s services include:

Digital MammographyDigital Mammography

CRMC has the latest technology for mammograms. This new technology allows us to provide better quality images that can be manipulated and viewed immediately. This is a screening and diagnostic tool recommended for all women for the early detection of breast cancer. Discuss the need for this test with your physician.

Osteoporosis Screening

Osteoporosis can be a disabling disease for women. CRMC offers the best technology for screening: Dual Energy X-ray Absorptiometry (DEXA) can determine early stages of bone loss associated with osteoporosis. This disease causes bone density to decrease, making bones brittle and prone to fracture.

Tubal Ligation

CRMC offers female patients a form of permanent birth control-Tubal Ligation. With a highly trained staff, this process is usually performed in an inpatient or outpatient department and is usually performed endoscopically. An endoscopic procedure allows a minimally invasive intervention which in turn has a shorter recovery time.

Hysterectomy

At CRMC, we acknowledge that having a hysterectomy can be a very stressful time in your life. Our team only performs hysterectomies if all avenues of healthcare have been exhausted and the problem persists. With a hysterectomy, the recovery time usually is around 4 to 6 weeks.

Bladder Lifts

Female bladder control problems and urinary incontinence (bladder leakage) are one of the most common problems affecting aging women. While pelvic floor exercises (such as Kegel exercises) and certain medications can be of some help, only surgery can secure a long-lasting favorable result. Here at CRMC, we have the latest advance in tension-free bladder slings performed by our highly trained surgeons. Our approach is a less invasive procedure and eliminates potential complications.

Fetal Sex Ultrasound & 3D/4D Ultrasound

One of the biggest questions every new mother asks is “Will I have a boy or girl?” CRMC offers a fetal sex ultrasound at around 18-22 weeks of pregnancy. The fetal sex ultrasound does not require a doctor’s order, but we do ask that the fee for the procedure be paid prior to the ultrasound taking place. Call 620-252-1523 to schedule your fetal sex ultrasound today!
