The Cancer Center at CRMC is certified by the American College of Surgeons and is comprised of:
- Medical Oncology – where patients receive the same advanced treatment available anywhere: Chemotherapy, IV Therapy, Hormonal Therapy and Blood Component Transfusion.
- Surgical Services - A team of surgeons, anesthesia providers, and peri-operative nurses provide competent and compassionate care to the patients and their families. The Surgical Services Department works as a team with
Pathology, Medical Imaging, both Radiation and Medical Oncology, and Nursing Services to expedite the diagnostic and treatment process for the cancer patient.
- Radiation Oncology - offers state-of-the-art patient care by utilizing a Varian Linear Accelerator. Besides the Linear Accelerator, the department utilizes other pieces of equipment in the treatment process:
- Cascade Simulator
- ROCS treatment plan computer
- Picker Superficial X-Ray Unit
- The Cancer Registry - The Cancer Registry is a data based registry that maintains information on all cancer cases and certain benign tumors diagnosed at, or treated at, Coffeyville Regional Medical Center. This information
