Information Technology at CRMC
At Coffeyville Regional Medical Center, we are committed to providing the latest technology for our patients and staff. We have computerized systems at our patient's bedside that allows clinicians to document care and share information with patients immediately. These bedside devices are designed with bar code scanners to allow for medication verification, assuring our patients get the right medication at the right time and with the right dose.
Guest wireless Internet access provides the capability for patients and visitors to utilize their personal wireless enabled device(s), such as laptops, PDAs, etc., to access the Internet from within Coffeyville Regional Medical Center, at no charge.
Long term, we are working towards a completely electronic patient health record that can be securely shared with all clinicians who are caring for our patients. Coffeyville Regional Medical Center was recently recognized by the HealthCare Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS) as having obtained a level 6 on the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) adoption model , an honor that less than 5% of all hospitals nationwide have achieved.
